Route: Kolkatta - Chandipur - Bhittarakanika - Bhuvaneshwar - Konark - Puri - Chillika Lake - Barkul - Taptapani - Rayagada - Jeypore - Bhawani Patana - Bhuvaneshwar - Kolkatta ; Grade: Easy - Leisure ; Best Season: March / October - November ; Cost: Minimum six bikers – € 1660(Euro) per person

A kaleidoscope of resplendent colors,innocent faces and fascinating lifestyles in secluded hamlets of seldom visited tribes. Welcome to Orissa - a fascinating state in India, off the regular tourist circuits but an exotic destination nevertheless. Orissa lies along the eastern seaboard of India and has some of the most beautiful temples and beaches. The Coastal line runs 482 km on the Bay of Bengal and then there are the interior unspoiled areas. Orissa has a vast tribal population belonging to diverse races & cultures. The majority of this population inhabits the forest & hill regions.

And of course there is the famous state of West Bengal - an important region during the British rule for the East India Company's headquarters at Calcutta (Now Kolkata) and till date a major center for textile and industry. Mother Teresa made Calcutta her home and many years ago.

Day 01 - arrive ex International flight at kolkatta in the early morning hours and board the Dhauli express to arrive Baleaswar. On arrival met at the railway station & Drive to Chandipur - 20 kms - Full day at lesiure and latter part of evening seasoning on the motorbikes .

Day 02 - Chandipur - Baleswar – Chandbali - Bhitarakanika - 250 kms. - The ride is on a state highway where the traffic is less but at the same time the roads are narrow. Overnight at the Dak Bungalow (forest houses) which has 4 double rooms & a 10 bed dormitory. Depending on the group size we will need to accommodate within these rooms.

Day 03 - Bhitarakanika – Chandbali - Bhubneshwar - 190 kms. - Early morning game vieweing & boat ride of Bhitarkanika. After Early Lunch we ride on the bikes to Bhubneshwar. We will enjoy some local sightseeing of Bhuvaneshwar by local transportation as the roads are very congested.

Day 04 - Bhuvaneshwar - Konark - Puri - 180 kms - Sight seeing of Konark Sun Temple. After a Sight seeing stop at Konark we will ride on to Puri en route sightseeing some villages known for their crafts. The Puri beach is famous for its beautiful sunrise.

Day 05 : Drive to Satpada. - Today we will go to Chilika lake (asia's largest salt water lake - area approximately 1100 sq. Kms). Its the winter home of migratory birds. A Day at Leisure with a Boat ride in Chilika lake visiting nalban bird's island & kalijai island. Overnight at Barkul. (70 kms/2 hrs)

Day 06: Ride to Taptapani - 130 Kms - visiting a few roadside semi tribal villages. Visit the tibetan settlement at Chandragiri. O/nt at Taptapani.

Day 07 : Ride to Rayagada - 220 Kms - visiting a few Langia Soua villages (Tribal) near Puttasingh. O/n at Rayagada in hotel.

Day08 : Ride to Bissam - 120 Kms - visiting a few Dongariya Kondha villages. Back to Rayagada for overnight stay.

Day 09: Ride to Jeypore - 140 Kms - O/n hotel

Day 10 : Drive to Gupteswar - 140 Kms - to visit Dhuruba tribal villages & Gupteswar cave then ride back to Jeypore.

Day 11 : Jeypore to Bhawani Patana - 150 Kms - visiting a few roadside villages. O/n at Bhawani Patana.

Day 12: Bhawani Patana to Baliguda - 190 Kms - visiting a few Kuttiya Kondh villages near Ramgiri

Day 13: Baliguda to Bhubaneswar - 310 kms - On arrival transfer to station to board the train for Kolkata.

Day 14 - arrive Kolkata in early morning hours day at leisure for local sight seeing. Later on board flight home.

Option to stay overnight in Kolkata depending on flight timings.
