Top of the World Motorbike Safari goes to the highest motorable pass in the World - Khardung La in Ladakh. Take the challenge of this motorbike safari to Top of the World in Ladakh and High Himalayas.Dharamsala & Amritsar Holy Cities, Dharamsala is home to many thousand Tibetans including the exiled Dalai Lama himself. If we are lucky we may get the chance to join one of his public audiences if he is in town. A major highlight of the tour is a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar where we plan to see the early evening Granth Sahib ceremony. This tour takes you to the Highest motorable Mountain Pass in the World - Khardung La (5,602 M) and across into Nubra Valley. Ride starts from Amritsar & Ascends Lower Himalayas and goes on to the arid Ladakh region crossing many mountain passes. Also visit Pangyongtso Lake (lake of great hollowness), almost 130 Km long and 06 to 07 Km wide, extending east to west at a height of 14000 Ft. The ride is tough, crossing mountain streams and at times non-existent roads in landslide prone areas.
